Oh, just read an earlier post that says the battery charger is bad on the cyclops. I can't make a radio because I'm down to one copper ore lol. That was scary.I'm still horribly starved for copper after all the stuff I built. I explored a wreck near there and got some useful blueprints, but I came back to find that random things had almost destroyed my seamoth while I was gone. I was exploring the heat vent next to LIfepod 12 (that's where I left my scanner room), and that's the furthest I've gotten, radio-wise. Now that I have my cyclops, I think my next order is to go explore the further areas. A big, cool ship that you can customize and deck out as a mobile home for yourself. It's great.įunnily enough, this is exactly the sort of thing I would like to see in a big ship in Star Citizen. It's a mobile base! I can build almost anything I'd put in an actual base in it! And it can hold my seamoth! So I set it up with lockers to hold my supplies (the included lockers aren't much), the usual fabricator/charger/etc stuff, and a few grow beds to grow food with. THIS IS THE COOLEST FUCKING THING IN THE WORLD. I also happened to complete the Cyclops stuff, and spent the past hour or so both cleaning up my current "home" base (which seems to be just near my lifepod lol) to be less of a mess, and putting together materials for the cyclops.Īfter moving around my platform a bit and wondering why it kept telling me to move to deeper water, I finally managed to build the cyclops and I have to say. It probably makes no difference but at least it seems less cruel to me. I don't feel like feeding them live fish, so when there really aren't plants around, I go out of my way to at least cook the fish before tossing them into the reactor.
I fitted out my two bigger bases with bioreactors, and just feed them anything I can find nearby. Hitting random stuff still seems to hurt it pretty badly.
The last two mods was one depth mod and one armor mod, though I'm not sure how much the armor thing helps. My seamoth is now a budget power cell charger with its solar thing, and it also has a little trunk for quick supplies. I already had the vehicle mod station so I built my moonpool and put together a bunch of mods for my seamoth. I got a bunch of key things that I've been missing - a scanner room, moonpool, and finally the damned battery charger.
